Giving back  is the primary purpose of the Chaparral Women’s Club. Throughout the year our members participate in regular volunteer and goods collections projects.

Last year’s fundraising event was an enormous success. The money raised assisted local organizations and contributed more than $20,000 in grants and scholarships to benefit citizens of Williamson County. Over the last decade, the Chaparral Women’s Club has granted more than $635,000 and dedicated countless volunteer hours to charitable organizations within our community.

A few of our Annual Service Projects
Texas Baptist Children’s, A Chance to Shine Fashion Show
For the past few years Chaparral Women’s Club has helped with the TBCH “A Chance to Shine” Back to School Fashion Show, featuring TBCH children and their moms. Chaparral Women’s club was proud to contribute to the event and has hosted a reception after the show for the attendees, participants, and residents of TBCH.

The Backpack Coalition
The Backpack Coalition is a collaboration of various churches, civic groups and businesses designed to meet the needs of hungry children in the Round Rock and Pflugerville Independent School Districts by providing them with nutritious and easy to prepare food to take home on weekends. Chaparrals has participated in a food drive and packing food kits for weekly distribution.

Habitat for Humanity
Chaparral Women’s Club was proud to participate in Women’s Build Week this year, where we were able to work on a house that was partially funded by a Grant from Chaparrals the previous year. We installed siding and framed windows for a deserving family right here in Round Rock.
